How it works
WNBA analytics built on the same engine that powers our NBA and MLB coverage. Below is the pipeline, end to end.
1. Live data ingestion
We pull every WNBA prop on DraftKings every few minutes, plus full WNBA player gamelogs from stats.wnba.com. Same pipeline that powers our NBA and MLB books.
2. The model
An XGBoost ensemble per stat category: points, rebounds, assists, threes, combo props. Features include recent form, opposing defense, pace, home/away splits, rest days, minutes trends, and back-to-back fatigue.
3. Edge detection
We compare the model's true probability vs DK's implied probability. Any prop where the model's edge exceeds 5% gets surfaced. A+ picks (≥20% edge) get the front-page treatment.
4. Honest tracking
Every pick is logged. Every result is graded. Win, loss, push, ROI — all visible on the Results page so you can see if we're actually beating the line.
