Late-round darts can change a fantasy roster, but only if the cost stays small and the evidence is clear. ADP, the average round and pick where a player is selected, shows which deep options require a draft pick and which may reach waivers. Start with the Draft Kit, then reserve two or three bench spots for calculated swings.

Dark horses already drawing attention

Value means paying a 2026 price below what 2025 production supports. Dontayvion Wicks has a 15.06 ADP, while his production last season would justify a price 21 picks earlier. He also recorded 3270 adds in the last day.

Jalen Nailor costs a 14.03 pick, 12 picks later than his 2025 production supports, and drew 9108 adds in the last day. Justice Hill sits at 14.05, with a 10-pick discount against last season’s production and 6570 adds. Malik Washington is available at 13.12, 11 picks behind his 2025 production, with 5128 adds.

Those add totals show attention, not a dependable role. Use them to identify names requiring another look, then check the Usage Report before deciding whether the market has found something sustainable.

The deepest production discounts

Every gap here compares a player’s 2026 draft price directly against his 2025 production. Kayshon Boutte is the largest mismatch: a 14.12 ADP, 8.9 PPR points per game across 14 games last season, and a current price 32 picks later than that production supports.

At running back, Kimani Vidal averaged 9.1 PPR points across 13 games in 2025. His 15.02 price is 29 picks later than last season’s production would justify. That makes him a cleaner final-round swing than a player whose case rests only on speculation.

Tory Horton is another late receiver at 14.11. He averaged 8.1 PPR points over 8 games last season, and his 2026 price trails that production by 24 picks. The smaller sample deserves caution, even at that cost.

For an almost-free alternative, Darnell Mooney averaged 5.5 PPR points over 15 games. His 15.09 ADP is still 24 picks later than his 2025 production supports, despite 0 adds in the last day.

Rookie darts require a different standard

Rookies have no NFL sample, so their prices are projections rather than evidence. Denzel Boston and De'Zhaun Stribling both carry a 13.12 ADP, while KC Concepcion goes at 11.08. Those prices let managers choose how much projection risk to accept.

Do not fill every speculative bench slot with rookies. Pair one rookie projection with one or two players who produced in 2025, such as Boutte or Vidal. That keeps multiple paths open without making the entire bench dependent on unknown NFL performance.

How to use this: Take two or three late swings, preferably across both receiver and running back. Recheck usage after the first two weeks and cut quickly when the role does not support the thesis; a dart’s low acquisition cost is useful only if you remain willing to move on. Use the Anytime TD Board as a tiebreaker, not as proof.
